Questions to ask when deciding on a new latex
or organic mattress: 1. Is the latex 100% natural latex? Is it 100% natural
TALALAY LATEX? Or is it 100% natural
DUNLOP LATEX?
(Talalay
Latex is more costly to process than the Dunlop Latex Process.)
Be sure to find out which latex you are getting.) Are you being
deceived by the seller saying “100% Talalay latex or 100% Dunlop
latex” without using the word natural? Are they saying 100% Talalay
latex which is not natural then saying it’s available in natural but
not explaining it is only available in natural Dunlop?
2. Is the wool organic or just pure wool? The terms "pure wool" and
"natural wool" and "100% wool" do not mean organic. They can still
be processed with chemicals and dyes.
ORGANIC WOOL is free of all synthetic chemicals throughout the
processing. Of all of these, organic wool is by far the most
expensive to produce and certainly the best material to use in an
organic mattress. We only use organic wool. The organic certificates
can be viewed below.

3. How much organic wool (if it is organic wool) is in the bed? Is
it 1/2” or 3”?
4. Is the Talalay latex
OEKO TEX certified?
5. Is the mattress ticking (fabric)
OEKO TEX certified?
6. Is the flame barrier all natural or is the bed sprayed with
chemicals for fire-proofing? Some manufacturers, instead of using a
natural flame barrier on organic mattresses, use the inexpensive way
to fire-proof their mattresses.
Dremata Sleep's Dunlop and Talalay latex are 100% NATURAL
latex. Our wool is organic wool, not just pure and we use 3”, not
the typical ½” or 1” used in most other organic beds. Our mattress
ticking is organic and we use a natural flame barrier with no
chemicals. Be sure to ask these questions before you buy a mattress
from any company and be sure you are comfortable with the responses
and that you are getting EXACTLY what it is you are paying for and
are expecting.
